Esther Whiting | 92
Esther Whiting is an easterner and moved to San Francisco about 10 years ago to be near her sister, who unfortunately passed away not long ago. She is still feeling that loss. She remembers her and her sister having to move in with relatives during the Depression because her parents couldn’t support them, and this was for them, “the separation”. She recounts moving around with her husband, an artist, for his schooling and work and how she found the mental strength to care for their very young children. And when she talks about values and advice, she describes how in her life she has valued being kind, considerate, genuine, and honest. And finally she talks about regret at this stage in her life.
