Lee Ellen Shoemaker makes the most of San Francisco. She goes to her local bakery, Noe Valley Bakery, to meet new friends (and get the most out of the discounts they have in the afternoon- good tip!). She goes to the beach and Fort Funston to appreciate the beauty. Lee gets a tremendous amount out of the company of her friends and neighbors, but also enjoys her own company. She has been insatiably curious her whole life and an early adopter and teacher of new technology. Lee gave us one of the most quotable perspectives about the experience of aging during this project: "The most surprising thing about getting older is I feel like exactly the person I felt like I was when I was 15. Maybe even younger!”
