Bani is originally from Malaysia and came to SF by way of London. At this point in her life, she is managing several health conditions that have affected her mobility and vision. She stays engaged with all the things she loves. Friends, activities on Zoom, walking, cooking, following the news and politics, and her family. She used to love going to the Asian Art Museum for events and the exhibits. She likens COVID to a war, like the experience of living through WWII in Malaysia, a British colony at the time.
