Deanne Gottfried | 89

Dr. Deanne Gottfried has had several careers as a physician, including as a high-level public health and preventive medicine physician working for the San Francisco Department of Public Health and later as a Geriatric Psychiatrist. Deanne talks about the thoughtful ways in which she approached retirement and entering elderhood, as well as how reduced mobility has affected her. She lives with her husband in one of the continuing care retirement communities (“CCRC”) in the city. We were privileged to hear her perspective on life.
